Went to the dam this weekend on Saturday I got zip ,nada. Today caught 14 short 2 keeper's and a pike. Didn't get much above 34 all day but had a great time.
May your days be filled with sun shine and you always have a tight line. AMEN

I spent a bit tying some bucktail today.  Going to the Mississippi next weekend.  Been kinda slow there to from what I heard.  Buddy got a 27 yesterday and no males milking yet.  This is at the dam in alma.

Alma runs about a week behind Red Wing. Right now the fish are transitioning up from well below the dam. Check that main channel corridor near the power lines especially the shallow sand on the Minnesota side in that same area. That first break can put some serious weight on a jig.

Ya I see a lot of people fish that.  I'm going to be on the float and staying on it over night.
