Anyone drink Mead?

I've been digging thru my wine recipe books looking for a fall wine to make and the lady and a daughter keep pressing for Mead. Its a honey based wine. Its light of course, but it has some kick to it and flavor - wise it is an excellent sweet wine. It can be made dry too, but the sweet Mead has the character.....at least that what I've had does. Just curious if anyone here has tried the Mead before.

Yes and it is delicious.  I've had it also with strawberry and raspberryin it.   It's a bit too sweet for me to drink as a dinner wine but makes an excellent dessert wine.   Make extra as it will disappear very quick!
