I've been snooping for the best buy. Right now it looks as though Barlows has the best price on the nasty sizes, at least in smaller panfish sizes....about $39.00/1000 shipped. Captain hooks is almost $43.00 shipped for the same size/quantity. Nettcraft does not carry the nasty line yet.

The almost $12.00 for shipping makes them more expensive than the Captain!

Wow!! they really went up - my Sis in law got me 2000 last year and they were only $26 a thousand from Capt Hooks.

I paid 34.30 for 1000 lil nasty jig hooks from Captain hooks with $8.00 shipping, the final price was $42.30. If you order by the thousand Captain hooks gives you a 30% discount. Just click on the size and then click the amount and then click on 1000 and the discount price with show up. For me using sizes 2 up to 3/0 Captain hooks is cheaper, Barlows gives a better price for size 4 and 6 but are more expensive with the rest as their shipping is $7.95.

Barlows is $35.67 for 1000 of the size 2 plus the shipping came to $43.62. For the smaller sizes Barlows can't be beat but for the size 2-1-1/0-and 2/0 I go with Captain hooks unless I need more than hooks.  You see Captain Hooks sells everything under a 1/0 for the same price, Barlows price goes up as the size changes so a size 6 and a size 4 is less expensive, a size 2 and up is more expensive.

I seldom cast beyond a size 6 for crappies and sunfish. I have plenty of 4's, 8's, 10's and 2's. The 6 can be a tough one to find though.  Slightly under $39.00 /1000 at Barlows, shipped. Not a bad price.

I thought maybe the Captain would offer a better discount by the 10,000. Still at 30%.
