Way to go Mark !  We SHOULD be ice fishing late ice here in a normal year but the ice went out a couple weeks ago already.

Hey, MT.  You're too new on this forum to be pouring baits that good.  Fabulous work.
Until next time.

Hey tanks to all you "old" timers that I have learned from.
One way to learn was to take the top posters and sit at night and read through all the old posts, kind of like reading a book.
So nice to have pictures with descriptions such as what brand/type of mold and especially recipes which gives one a starting point.
That's also one-thing great about this forum you can go back through all of the posts (about half way through Toms' 6550 posts). Most other forums you can only go back 100 posts which doesn't get back to some of the really good stuff.
Between ctom, BareKnuckleJigs, Denny Welch and others (to name a few) it's incredible the info that's out there that you guys have shared!
99 % of the time the answer is on this forum just takes a search and a bit of reading.
Sad part is some of the older posts have lost their photos for what ever reason.
Once again thanks to all!

MT204 you are so correct about the information on this board.
Somebody should put it in a manual and sell it!

Thanks for the kudos MT.

The photos.....they get to be a bane. I have a pretty decent editing program on my desk top but re-sizing is not going to happen and forums like this need to use sized pictures or they wouldn't last too long. Pics take up a ton of space so I use hosting programs like Photobucket. The problem with the public Photobucket site is the advertising and the more pictures you have hosted at Photobucket the more the advertising shows up and trust me, slows down the up load and editing. Its bad. Over time some of the pictures get lost in the shuffle of trying to stay abreast of all the junk at Photobucket. Photobucket makes its money on advertising and if you want to be ad-free there the cost to get that service is incremental....the more the rate, the fewer the ads, but to be totally ad-free and to be able to work with any sort of speed will be a costly annual adventure. Its just one of those things that will happen on sites like pb when a picture gets dusted because advertising creates a jam in communication on site.

There are a lot of long-time posters here that migrated when the Caney Creek forums and business were sold to the Do-It Corp. The people here are great for sharing information and helping to understand the ins and outs of tackle crafting.

Kudos on a VERY cool picture!

(The fact that you posted the bait beforehand makes it even more cool.)
