Nice work! :)

In the third pic there, it looks like that mold is laid in sideways- is that not the same mold as that watermelon top/pearl belly swimbait in the pic?  If so, how did you had pour the belly and get the whole back and whole tail to fill?

Thanks for asking. Pouring and trying to get a belly cut out accurately to shoot was aggravating. I started by using a hot glue gun to partially fill the belly section (not the tail) of the two halves then pushed them together keeping the mold vertical. Clamped, heated mold with a heat gun some to ensure the glue bonded to itself. Trimmed flashing and shaped the blank with a hot knife and heated up putty knife.

Next, I used the blank to cast a mold from pop. After the pop dried I covered the entire cavity and surface with a thin coating of petroleum jelly. Then I filled the cavity with red RTV gasket maker.
I let it set for 2 days over a furnace vent to set up. Trust me when I say you by no means want to try putting the RTV directly into the mold. What a mess!

I also did a back section too.

The baits and your description of making your plugs for the belly and hand pours for the boot tail are great. You need to figure out how to size the pictures now so they fit the format of the web pages.

Not sure I understand. When I go to post a pick via Tapatalk it say "best" size so I click that. I'll go to the site to see what I'm doing wrong.

Just re-size them before you post.

I tried to resize the pictures using photobucket. If the pics are still not to size let me know and I'll delete this post. It's so much easier just lurking around. Sorry once again.

Those work great. Click on the picture in the post and you'll see it in a larger format in Photobucket.
