Canal Park is a historic area full of business and tourist related stuff and the whole thing is closed today....wave related flooding. One of the hotels Carole and I stay at during our winter visits has waves breaking against the lobby windows. At 2:50 PM lake monitors reported waves of 12 to 14 feet. Right now they are reporting waves from 16 to 20 feet.
