Fat Fork 2.75 vs. 4
« on: 01/30/21 19:04 UTC »
I ordered a sample pack of these last year, but never received them due to COVID. I checked again a couple days ago, and they still have the sample bait program shut down.

I can’t get a grasp on actually how big these are. I wanted to hold them in my hand before ordering, but now am ordering one blind.

Some pics it looks like the 2.75 is perfect, then some pics make it look pretty small. Can someone please post pics of each size next to a ruler?

Currently I have the 2.75 on order, but now I’m second guessing that it might be too small for Mississippi River Walleye

Also, it appears that there still isn’t a tail mold available yet, correct? Outside of the bass tackle one?

Thanks!

send me your mailing info by pm and I'll help you out.

These are dynamite baits for walleye but I  find that size matters mostly based on the mood of the fish. Cold water and cold fronts will show the fish preferring the smaller while long stretches of stable weather will have fish more willing to nail the larger one. Large crappies like the 2 3/4" version when the bite is strong. Smallies will pound the smaller version too. These are both really nice baits and very easy to inject. Molds are userfriendly to the max.
