New Release *** X2 Colorant ***
« on: 04/01/12 16:23 UTC »
The X2 Colorant is now available in the shop:

http://www.caneycreekmolds.com/X2-Colorant_p_328.html

Green Pumpkin Green is the first color.  We have 10 more colors we just need to get poured up, and another 10 that we are still working on.  After that we will continue to add additional colors as needed.

You can read reviews from the testers here:

Tight lines!

Nice job Jason. They sound great. Too bad I inherited enough color to last a lifetime :) :(

Nice pics BTW

It's in the works, we've already approved it, and to me it is awesome.  I know everyone has their twist they like to put on colors, but these should give you an awesome base to work from.

Do these colorants "settle" as others seem to? Just curious so I can add some bb's or a nut in the bottom to keep it mixed well.

Thanks!!!

You do not need to add a nut - it would be like adding a nut to ketchup and trying to shake it - it's not going to happen.  I've had colors sit since last May and 10 months later they were like the day I got them.  The exception is the chartreuse type colors.  They settle faster - but it's still months vs days (I didn't check it frequently enough to know exactly when it started to happen).  I used a skewer to mix the chartreuse back up and it worked well.  I think rotating it well may also do the trick.

Have you noticed any bleeding with the new colorants? My wife asked me that question last night...I guess she's paying attention to what I do with our $$$  ??? LOL
