New furnace...
« on: 02/16/22 12:23 UTC »
Last spring Ma heard some squeaking come from our boiler pump when it was running so I thought last fall would be a good time to be pro-active and get it replaced. The first vit was on November second. Finally got the new pump, via a new furnace boiler, in January. Was supposed to have been in December, but covid in the shop cancelled the project a couple times. As soon as the new boiler was in place we were woke up to water hammer big time so they were called back.... four times. FINALLY, the last tech discovered the installers installed a valve backwards. No more noise. Then getting the inspections scheduled came up. Today the last two were done, just about in time to shut the heat off for the season.
