New PB LM on a Wutzit!

Caught my new PB largemouth today in Virginia. 24" and fat. I know she is over 8#.

Caught in about 4-6' water umongst scattered, newly emerging lily pads. Really bad cold front came through last night and bluebird skies. 64* water.

I used a Caney Creek 5" Wutzit (fluke type) that I poured myself. Silver pearl with silver flakes. I used my heavily salted stick bait formula that helped it sink on the pause between twithes.

Too bad I ordered a new scale yesterday and forgot to get a girth :(

Man that fish is dark.....love it.  Great catch. Even better on a home-brew.

I love the color on that fish.  So clean and healthy looking.  awesome

Thanks guys. Funny thing is I used to always fish a fluke in the weeds back in Jersey. This is the first time I used one in like 10 years since i am in Virginia.

Look at that color! Black bass! Just for fun I bought an H&H spinner bait and a Beetlespin to throw yesterday. I didnt catch any bass but the blue gill loved it. I was hoping for the same reults you had!
