Ma and I have an antique business and while snooping for store stock I dig thru boxes of old silverware and have found that the old 'fruit" spoons do a very nice job. Unlike the rounded teaspoon so common on everyone's tables today, fruit spoons have a narrower end, still rounded. The trick to spoon pouring is first to keep the spoon very warm and second to keep the bottom side and edge you pour from clean of residual plastic. Spoon pouring isn't for everyone. It requires a great deal of patience.
The small small frys are done with a laminate plate I believe.
