Yes Sir, it's getting close. If You have time, go through everything...tackle boxes- make sure everything's in place, present, accounted for...rods and reels- clean and lube reels, rods, check and clean guides...make sure batteries are charged and in working order, top-off with distilled water if they're non-sealed...outboards- 4-strokes, make sure oil is good in the head and lower unit, 2-strokes, lower unit oil...gas- make sure You're not working with old gas, and get the Sta-bil, SeaFoam is a very good additive for gasoline, as well.
Go through everything when You can make time...anchor and anchor rode/rope, rags, toilet paper (in a ziploc!), check navigation lights and trailer lights/plugs/connections, mooring/tie-up lines, bow line, any gauges on instrument panels, fuel lines and filters, make sure all fishing line is in good condition, any steering gear, trailer winch and it's cable/rope, lube trailer tongues' moving parts, check spare tires, check main and spare props and their nuts/fasteners, make sure You have a few tools onboard, PFD's/life jackets, fire extiguisher if required, emergency flares if possible...
