K Grub...two sizes

Here is a shot of the K Grub in a side by side picture. These are done in a couple different color formats: motor oil/orange tail and fire tiger.

On the fire tiger baits I hand poured the top and bottom , but I left each side shallow, then I shot the yellow chartreuse thru to finish the tail and weld it all together. The motor oil shown here is X2 motor oil, not the changeable stuff. You can see a 3" in there that is solid motor oil. I added .040 black glitter and red and green in .015. There is some gold hi lite in there too. Both of the 3" motor oils on the left really show how the color comes alive.

The fire tigers are all X2 colors mixed in the CCM soft plastic. I'm going to try some hard nosed baits next with a firm plastic up front and a soft plastic tail.

I got the shop moved inside so I can play in human warmth again. That's good because these two molds are a riot to work with. Spoon feeding these guys is super easy and I can see a bunch of fun colors coming off them.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter - and unsafe.
