Bed Fishing.... Favorite bait???
« on: 02/07/11 10:24 UTC »
Just getting some other ideas as it is almost time here!!!

I use my Zombie Digits (similar to Zoom Centipede) in a secret color that is like crack to an addict for the fish. They SLURP these up!!! Also have had super success drop shotting an F9 floating Rapala. Big girls really don't like that!!!

Jason's new Tubezilla is looking like a winner (if I can save up)!!

I think white is very overated unles the water color dictates. Natural colors work real good for me!

I agree, white is to help the fisherman see the bait, not the fish.  On pressured water, the more natural you go the quicker the bite.  I've had great luck with tubes and on stubborn fish small baits (I think the 3" and 4" Carrot will work great - in the past used Zoom).  The drop shot is a super technique.  I don't think I know anything of value that you haven't already posted.  I will say this, last year for some reason they went nuts over pumpkin (not green pumpkin) and black flake.

My "secret" color is cucumber seed.

I have yet to be on a lake in GA, FL, AL, WI that a bed fish won't slurp it on the first or second cast.
