lure top coat review

OK hear is my opinion on top coats

D2 30 minute epoxy ..... awesome durability but it comes off in chunks when it does come off. Sucks to apply with a rotisserie. If negatively effects the action of smaller baits. The shine is awesome looks the best

Concrete sealer ...... sucks!!!! 100% of the baits were wrinkled in some form. Some so small no one would notice, some were a total loss with no rhyme or reason.  Super thin.... easy to apply ...stinks a little. Good hard finish

CS coating winner winner chicken dinner ! Smells good, no wrinkle ever... super thin, maybe not as thin as concrete sealer but zero effects on action even after 3 dips.... just dip and let drip. I'm sold on the CS I just wish I knew what company made it  ::)

I never had any wrinkles with concert sealer.  But I'm going to try cs sealer.  Guess I'll call capt. Kurk.

I really wish there was a durable clear similar to this in a Matte finish. All this glossy stuff is to look pretty to the buyer, and less realistic in my opinion. Kopper's Live Target does a great job with it.  I have used a scotch brite fine after epoxy and it does a good job, But who wants to do all of that extra work?

Fish, craws, etc don't look glossy under water....  :'(

21 I agree. I seem to do better with dull baits then glossy ones.
I think solarez is duller then most top coats.  But I don't want to buy a lamp and top coat and then find out I don't like it.
