Moving along....

....with this core color binge I have been on.

These are a BT 1.5" stinger bait. Its getting a little tricky getting the cores to work in this bait but there are a few that turned out nice. There's not a ton of room for color and getting the right amount on the half-body is a real challenge. Its easy to over-dose the color on this critter. The eyes are not a customary addition to this bait but go a long way to compliment the line colors. This could be the smallest I am willing to go with cores, but cores will work on baits down to this size as long as there is enough body to work with.

WOW, Nice. Those eyes must be tiny suckers. Do you have the tail mold for that bait too or do you just cut the tails off finished baits ?

The eyes are 3mm. I haven't done anything with the tails. These have color shot thru them which might make them appear to be a weld.

Yup, I was just wondering if you had the tail mold for that bait. I've not worked up the courage to try core shots yet. LOL

They make a tail mold but I don't like the cut-off point. I like a small butt of body with the tail color to facilitate good solid welds.
