ell it looks as if it is going to be a spinnerbait summer after the last few seasons being dominated by swim jigs for me. We had a good day the last time out and with the conditions that we have now, it seems to be setting up for more good days spinnerbait fishing so I'm making some! This is what I call shimmer shad, I don't have great photography skills so things don't show up well and in this case it is a few things. This is a 1/2oz bait with .035" diameter wire with a double mag willow configuration in size #3 for the clevis blade and a #4 for the swivel blade. The paint is white with holographic silver glitter, which isn't showing up, with a black back and a little smoke on the sides to transition into the white, just something a little different. The skirt is a full tab and 1/2 of neon silver, 1/2 tab of gun metal, and 1/2 tab of white with silver flake, I was going for flash on the body and skirt to make up for the less flash of the mag willows but I also wanted some thump yet still produce flash and that is why I chose the mag willow blades. This is going to be a bait you can use in slightly to heavily stained water which is what we have going on, thanks for looking guys.
