Lets See Em!
« on: 12/11/15 14:18 UTC »
I thought I'd start a thread for the hunters here to show off their kills from this fall.  I'm curious how many of you here spend time on the trigger when you aren't on the water.

Iowa's 1st Season Shotgun just wrapped up here.  The pics below are from this past week's hunt down in southern Iowa.  I was fortunate enough to harvest this old Monarch.  Ctom, I think this deer may have been older than you  :o

Feel free to follow up with pics of your deer ducks turkeys pheasants or whatever you like to chase when you aren't fishing or making baits!

Answer it!

Jordan claims he shot a nice buck but I'll believe it when I see pictures...  I know he likes to hunt close to a game farm so it wouldn't surprise me if he shot a tame escapee  ;)

First and foremost don't listen to anything Kyle has to say!  :P

Here is a couple of pictures of the buck I was lucky enough to get last Sunday in Northeast Iowa.

Ryan, put these clowns to work!!!  ;D I  saw 12 bucks during rifle season and not enough horns to make a knife handle between them!!! CWD, over killing of does and blue tongue have devastated our heard. The family killed 5 one of which was killed off the property we just bought which was pretty neat. My daughter "blood trailed" for me. No a trophy by horns but One of the smallest yet most memorable hunts since she help with a wall hanger memory!
Awesome deer guys!!!! Those are amazing animals but I'll top Ya both I have plenty of bow season left  :P

Those are nice bucks.....both of them. I love that tall rack on Kyle's.

I could have shot a dozen like Mo's but let them pass. We had bucks in the neighborhood but none met the 4 point rule so they're still growing too unless some schmuck shot them during the second season.

Awesome pics. Since I've been tied up in the house for the last three weeks all I've got is four mice. One was a real nice buck but sorry no pics. Came on peanut butter behind the washer.

No offense, Mo, but at first glance I thought you shot a cat.  Your daughter is a sweetie.
Until next time.

Denny it Is a cat... Geez those California folks  ;D it was running and stop just long enough for a shot so my sizer was off but the meat gives the family nurishment so her life gave my family life. The only red meat we eat is deer, unless it's the couple times a year I buy steaks. No fancy summer sausage here the meat is to important to us so we grind and cut roast outta everything. The good Lord blesses us with food so I can't complain how he serves it lol
