All my colorants are NB...pigment.  They all hard-pack.  Fluorescents are the worst for it.  I had been using a Stainless Steel Rod Epoxy Spatula but have went to a piece of 3/16" Brass Rod with a Rounded Tip.  The Brass Rod is plenty strong and the Round Tip doesn't scratch or cut plastic bottles.  All my bottles have a 5/16" Stainless Nut in them, also.  After I stir and loosen the settled pigment (it's about like cold peanut butter), I shake 'til I'm convinced it's ready...premium thinking and premium efforts are most of the components in premium products.  Drink plenty water before You start.  Like some good days and some not-so-good days in fishing, this is all part of it.

Brass rods are super cheap to use as stir sticks and marbles pour easily from bottle to bottle (plus they are easy to wipe clean if one is thinking of changing colors).

Brass rods I have and will go that route. I was wondering (In my first post on this thread) if water would be a good thing to use to clean up whatever it is one uses to mix colorants to avoid mixing colors together. Now I know that's not such a swell idea.

Thanks for the input.

The other day I made this little paint shaker with the jig jaw. I had to grind down the shaft a little to fit in the saw because i used a bigger vise then what the video was showing. Do-it's bottles are a little longer. It works awesome and very easy to do. Thanks for the idea.
