Here you go - this is for the tail portion.   The top half tie the two ends of the chenille and hackle at the tie in point of the tail section twist it and wrap normally, you don't want the top to fold over like the tail.  Takes practice and you'll mess a few up but they are fund to make.

For crappie jigs just make the loop of chenille longer - and after you get it to fold over don't let go of it when you take it out of the vise!!!

Now here's a new topic. When making laminates for crappie does it matter what color is on top? Pearl over chart., or chart over pearl? What about colors like baby bass or wild colors like purple over pink; or pink over purple. ;D

I would have to agree with  2XL and place the lighter color on the bottom and the darker color on top - *Most of the time.  Especially when using pearl - I would put the pearl on the bottom to match the belly of a baitfish.
