Lol, we all need bigger boats!
I normally take a minimalist approach on the water. I really try hard to determine how I'm going to ,and then go do it. I've found this to be more productive for me. If I get out there with to many options I will spend more time thinking about fishing, than fishing. It has bit me more than once taking this approach, but overall I think it works in my benefit to focus on location and presentation.
This has also led to some really cool discoveries testing baits. When you only take one bait out, you are forced to learn to work it many ways vs. just the obvious.
