Smoke is a killer color for me. I love transparent colors but our pure mud water in the spring and early summer  I think will fade them out where solid colors stand out more. Luckily late summer into winter we get 5-6 feet visibility so I get to use both.

I fish for bass mostly and make most of my baits in transperent colors many of the lakes I fish are very clear and for me transperent baits work best. But any over cooking will yellow your baits I learned the hard way wasting lots of plastic but I do have some nice baits. Thanks for sharing Jerry I thought some of my colors where to simple but they work well.

I wasn't aware that Do-It made stick molds. Nice baits though.

I think I need to make some 7" RTW and 2.25" grubs in this color.  And probably 4" tubes.  I like smoke, very versatile color.  Use the same smoke w/ .015 holo silver.  That's another good combo.  And of course fire red .040 is great in smoke too.

Very nice color.

I make a smoke slightly similar.

I really like that color.
I have only been making baits about 5 months now.... but smoke was one of the first colors I wanted to make.   I caught a ton of fish on that color back in TN when I was a much younger man.
So I made some "smoke" worms this summer and have been catching bass on them at Lake Seminole. They still work !
