All of these responses sound good to me!
If I may, I would like to offer a bit of advice-
(this comes from my own personal experience)
1) Go get the smallest sauce pan you have and fill it with water, then boil it. Keep track of how long it takes to boil. Now, go fill up your hot water heater with cold water, and stick it on a small campfire and keep track of how long it takes to boil.
Obviously the small sauce pan is much better in this test.

I am one that tends to "boil the ocean" as my wife affectionately describes.... So the fact you are going with just 2 molds and just a few colors is spot on! Also, the advice on saving some funds to purchase more colors and molds is equally as smart- you WILL want to expand,. It's the nature of this love. Otherwise, you may quickly find yourself boiling the ocean....which is not real efficient.
