Officially Hooked
« on: 01/13/12 10:50 UTC »
I just wanted to thank everyone on this forum. For several weeks now I have been reading and studying about pouring my own baits and this forum has helped me out tremendously. At first I thought that I would be in totally over my head but after reading each of your posts I continued gaining my confidence and decided to purchase the molds.

I received all of my materials yesterday and started pouring as soon as possible. I followed the advice from many of you and was successful (after burning my first batch) pouring my Tubes and 3.5 swimming shads in smoke color. They look awesome! I could not wait to give my dad a call and tell him he would never have to buy smoke tubs again!

I wanted to once again thank each of you for your help.

I also want to thank everyone at Caney Creek Molds. The product was shipped fast and packaged well. I will continue to be a dedicated customer to Caney Creek.

Luckily for me, it snowed in Kentucky today and as a teacher with a snow day, I will be pouring baits all day long!  ;D

Welcome!

There's a ton of info on the site....and everyone is very helpful on any question.

How many feet of snow did you get...to cancel school? We only cancel school here (Mn) for ice (it's very hilly here) and if the air temperature is -25 or more...with a wind. I think they got a "late start" on the 26" snow we had last year!

Happy snow day....and post some pics!

Welcome, You will have a blast in a new, very enjoyable learning experience.
If there is anything that it an absolute must it is safety.  Personal protection equipment ( PPE ) - 350 degree plastic is not forgiving.  And,  EVACUATE the fumes, not just stir them around in the room. Your vent should exhaust to the outside.
