I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I got 50 lbs of free glass bead media last week from a local company that does roadway marking and signage. They use the glass beads for painting the lines on the roads, but if it gets wet they can't use it and just throw the bags away. Hopefully someone else finds this info useful.
