Do-It Molds laminate plate

So I just found out that Do-It does not make Laminate plates for their Essential Series Senko and Creature Bug molds.  Any ideas on how to make my own Laminate plate would be greatly appreciated.

Tin foil will cut the bait in half.
Then you can play around with the halves.

As MADA stated tin foil is the easiest way to go.  It is also very fragile.  Tin pie plates are more durable and tin flashing (for roofing) can be bought pretty cheaply.  Hell, even aluminum soda cans can be cut to fit but they have the frustrating habit of rolling back into their original shape.

  This is how I made mine for the ES beaver mold. It's a cheap tin pie plate cut to fit. Works great.

Another way for multi colored baits is to hand pour the belly and/or back and inject the remaining portion like DF does; he makes some good looking baits without lami-plates.

Provided the mold is formatted to do a back and a belly. The Rippers molds, all of them, are formatted to inject a side/side. Cutting a single color bait to make a back/belly is a challenge so about the only option for a ripper to have the top/bottom color break is a twin injector.

Welcome Full Metal. The Essential Senko and Beaver style bug can be twin injected / hand poured or a metal plate. Like CTOM said if you are looking at other bait’s to laminate you have to know how they are formatted.

I personally have made divider plates for each of my molds.  I use rolled roofing aluminum flashing.  Measure and cut it out even can add tabs to label them.
