One of life’s memorable day’s
« on: 07/15/18 00:07 UTC »

One awesome day!! My daughter and mom got my friends at the lake and surprised me and the day just kept getting better when the White Bass showed themselves in the bay for the first time this summer. I got a dozen on a 3.250”jerk bait I painted.

Well happy birthday old man. You got me by a week. I'll turn 60 next Monday. The wife wanted to through me a big party and I said nope I want to spend a week back in the bush in Canada. So her and I are flying out Friday. 60 is not so bad but I also said that about 30, 40 and 50. It just seemed to have gone by so fast. Now we're looking retirement right in the face. Our 60's is most likely when we'll do it. There's four big life changers in your life. One when you move out and stand on your own. Two when you have children. Three when they move out ( my wife and I high fived on that day ) and Four when you retire. Life is a fun journey. I'm glade you've traveled this far along.

Happy Birthday to both of you old flatulats.  It's been a pleasure knowing you both over the last bunch of years.  I'd sure like to have another "Get Together" one of these days....maybe at a lodge somewhere, etc.  Maybe call it "Jerry's Day", or some such thing.
Until next time.

Happy Birthday you two! I got you beat by ten years! I'll turn seventy on August third. Celebrated my dad's ninety birthday today! He doesn't fish much, but he goes to the casino in Michigan City about three times a week! He's a great craps player.

Hope you had a great day WW.  My 70th will be next month and I don't feel it ( I feel a lot older).  Couple of nice sized fish would heal up some of those aches and pains tho.  Have a great rest of the day!
I find it incredible that I have to explain to a grown American citizen that taking a knee during the National Anthem is disrespectful.
