The hole by the mill is at least 15’ around and the one in the middle are around 9’ it’s not a hole that’s threw as far as I can tell it’s the slide side but will see when it stops running over in a few months.

For all the snow we had I'm really amazed that we are not seeing any flooding around here to speak of. Both the stream and river behind us are running high to some extent and the lake they help fill is hanging at 2 feet over summer pool, so basically the lake is only three and a half feet higher than the winter pool where it should be. Not bad. I could shore fish but it would be dicey on getting to the docks so I'm waiting. The water would be dirty and running pretty hard anyway.

The Mississippi is the Mississippi and its hard telling where that is going to go. I don't think I can even fish the harbor docks right now.

Its been a bad winter here in the upper part of the central US and I am expecting to hear of lots of places to report spring damage. But if we can stay away from any major rainfall events I think I'll be on the water inside of two weeks. I'm ready.
