Jig Trailer
« on: 01/12/11 15:37 UTC »
Of all the CCM which do you like the best as a jig trailer?  I've been using the 4" Mad Dad and 4" CC Craw, just been pinching off part of the body.  They have worked wonderful but they claws are pretty big when put with a jig.

I know some of you guys are using several of the baits as a trailer, just like to have some input before I order any more molds.

Thanks,

Brad

Well.... I like the MD 3XL because it is just an extended version of the MD 3. Clip or bite off a couple segments and you are set.

I figured I would go with something I could use to pitch, flip and punch mats plus turn into a jig trailer.

Just my thinking....

3" Mad Dad regular, for what little bass fishing that I do.

Jim nailed it if you are looking for versatility and a smaller profile.

The other option would be the MD3SC (Super Chunk).  Just saves you the option of removing part of the body.

I would go for the MD3XL because of the versatility for personal use.  If you are wanting to resell them you may consider the SC.

I can make you claw molds for either.

If you are wanting to use it on a swim jig I love the Grub or Boss Hog.  Haven't tried the Berry Bug yet...

I hate to see you keep adding more molds to sell  :D but are you going to make a Mad Dad 3xl super chunk injection mold?

I would be happy to.  Just order the MD3XL and put in the notes that you want the SC claws on it.  It will only add a couple days to the ship date.
