I can see for miles and miles
« on: 05/24/19 16:24 UTC »
Two weeks ago I had cataract surgery on my right eye.  The improvement was amazing!  Then yesterday I had the same procedure to the left.  I went from 20/70 left eye 20/100 right eye to 20/20 left and 20/40 right.  I have discovered my grass is green, I do not need a new television set and my wife is even prettier than I thought (lol).  I left the house this morning for the first time in 20 years without glasses (other than sunglasses of course).  Happy camper here.
I find it incredible that I have to explain to a grown American citizen that taking a knee during the National Anthem is disrespectful.

Good for you! Happy for ya! Isn't science wonderful. The things doctors can do today are very often mind boggling. Now if the two of you can dodge twisters and hailstones you can see to a great holiday weekend. Stay safe bud. This is great news.

Science is indeed wonderful.  We did dodge some nasty stuff last night.  We went from a tornado watch to a tornado warning.  The nasty stuff skirted to the north of us.  A tornado touched down about 10 or so miles north but despite all of that we just got about another inch of rain (which of course we did not need).  Tonights forecast?  80 % chance of rain.  Doh!
