I thought these frogs were meant to 'float'.

The weighted hooks simply help keep the frog right side up.

I thought these frogs were meant to 'float'.

  It just depends what they want. Sometime they just follow it and won't commit. So I just swim it over the cover and pause it and let in sink a little. A lot of time little things like that will get them to bite.

Also, if you want them to float; use floating plastic.

I like to swim them on top through the slop (weeds, etc) and then at the edge let them sink. I catch a lot of fish that dart out and nail them as they slowly sink. Bass love the edge of cover!
