New microwave

Stopped by my local Walmart this evening to grab a few things and ran across what I considered a deal. I picked up a 700 watt microwave for $35. This will replace the ginormous 80’s era radiation box I had been over heating my plastic in.

There are bargains to be found. Nice job of nosing one out.

  I remember when they first came out. They were big and pretty expensive for what they were. Not many people cooked with them at first. My uncle always said to stand back from the door because the radiation would harm you. So he would put his cup of coffee in there, turn it on and stand back while he smoked a cigaret. I still think about that today every time I use one and it still crackes me up.
