Scored some new equipment
« on: 08/01/19 22:19 UTC »
I went to a local auction this evening and think I did darned good. I picked up an UNUSED/never assembled/still in the box RCBS Pro-Melt lead pot(not the II), a badger airbrush compressor, and a small Makita air compressor. Feel free to let me know if I got burned.  Any tips for using this lead pot are appreciated.

RCBS IS A RARE FIND that’s better than the one that they sell now.
May your days be filled with sun shine and you always have a tight line. AMEN

How could we tell if you got burned w/o posting the prices you paid?

I would have bought them as well,...……… Maybe.

I have the same RCBS pot and love it. I like that Makita compressor for my job.

Good point XDC. lead pot $95; airbrush compressor $40; and Maktia compressor $60. Both compressors work. Haven’t had time to try out the lead pot yet.

LOL. Burned? I’d say you made out very well on some nice equipment. The retail on the pot was around 280.00 IIRC. Nice buy.

I think you got a steal, there are many that wish they could still get their hands on that version of the RCBS.  Nice work.
