Mini flip Jig
« on: 08/23/19 20:38 UTC »
Hard to find a finesse jig I truly like but the missle baits Ike’s mini flip is my favorite. Fishing current I would sometimes lose 3 in the evenings and at $5 each I had enough so I decided to make a mold. Turned out pretty good I think.

Nicely done... RTV can make some near perfect copies of favored lures.

RTV can have a little bit of a learning curve but for  personal use to get what you've after its really hard to beat. I've seen some home-brewed ice bugs and nymph-type plastics made from RTV molds.

I had a friend show me the ropes on RTV... the machining and/or trademarks from the original lures are even visible on my copies... good stuff.
