Great news this morning

For the last two months I've been in and out of the wound clinic like a yo-yo for that abscess on my leg, the last month twice a week. Last Tuesday they finally removed the wound pump and today they released me saying the wound has healed save for the small scab that will take care of itself. What journey this has been since I went thru that bad decking on July 7th. I have muscle loss and severed muscle sheath on the side of the calf but no loss of function in the leg at all. Am I ever happy that this little glitch in life is over.

I find it incredible that I have to explain to a grown American citizen that taking a knee during the National Anthem is disrespectful.
