Weight Forward Style M spinner molds
« on: 02/13/20 17:42 UTC »
Why are these not offered in the do it store, But offered elsewhere?

I bought both size molds from a seller on e-bay and they got lost in the mail. I received an empty package. Even though I'll get refunded, I didn't get the molds....

Anyone have both models they would sell to me or trade for some of my custom baits?

There is a small chance the post office will find these... I'm waiting for the tele call...

These are the 2 molds >>> https://barlowstackle.com/Do-It-Weight-Forward-Spinner-Molds-P294/

They're not in the paper copy of the catalog either. I'll bet that Barlows had these as hold-overs after Do-It discontinued them.

Why some molds are not sold on the do it web site, Yet sold at other stores. There are more of these than you think.

I don't think I'd worry about it. Businesses everywhere sell items in one venue and not at their home site's store. Besides, the Do-It store would be more expensive for like products sold at Barlows. I doubt if there's any conspiracy here and more likely what I offered before.

Who said anything about a conspiracy? I'm not talking about cost either... Just a simple question.

It's simple business. Do-it sells to other wholesalers so they can sell to customers like you and me. They are going to sell to them cheaper then you and me so they can sell to you and me and make a profit. Do-it offers the product on line for us to buy at a higher price so they don't compete with the wholesaler. Do-it may be out of stock because many wholesalers have bought them out. That is very good business on Do-it's part.

There are some molds that we discontinue over the years do to lack of interest.  We stop production  and take them off the website and out of the catalog.  Some of our dealers may still have some inventory.  Actually we may still have some discontinued items on the shelf, we just don't advertise them if we are not manufacturing them.  Feel free to call and see if we might have some older models around.
