I don't use it a lot, but I don't like not having it along. I can see the practicality of using on the work bench though. The stuff is thinner than pi$$ on a plate and can get all over things in a blink. I can't count the times my hands looked like party favors. I have a reel with a side plate that still has this orange juice stain on it. The same reel somehow managed to get a drop on the line on the spool and that made for psychedelic casting. Never dip this stuff with the bottle next to a rod or reel or anything where a drip might occur. As Lamar notes, a drop will be there to stay.

Hence why my question had such relevance.  I saltwater fishing primarily. Molds with out tail molds are a pain to make enough for trips that are consecutive. The bench lets me make and dip a dozen or so and go. The boat is not the best place to dip for me. The other just bleeds so fast. I ordered 3 jars and testing it right now. Laid them on wood. Got red worm and chart lure with purple lure. Dipped all with plastic and both seem to work. Dipped blades in the lure dip and that’s awesome. Dries quick and looks great. Purple lure is way thicker than both but still runny.
