Robertsdale....funny. We were vacationing in Pensacola one winter and decided to visit Alabama for a long day. Robertsdale was our first "almost" stop before turning back towards the Gulf.. We heard on the news that there had been a shooting and the shooter was at large there in Robertsdale so we just headed south and drove along Gulf Shores. That night on the news mentioned that this took place closer to Mobile and that the shooter was dragged out from under a porch using dogs and then shot a couple times to cool him off. He apparently survived but his victim did not.

I don't think you were a member here yet then. Just think....we came real close to meeting maybe. lol Alabama is a beautiful state, that what we saw. I'd come back but not during the hurricane season. lol

I would love to meet ya Tom heck any of y’all on here. I’ve met a few different folks from Bass Boat Central over the years and became quite good friends. I never remember an active shooter ever in Robertsdale Mobile yes but we are still a small town. I believe if there ever was one here the local police would call for help from the residents and most good ole boys I know would be much obliged to help. I thank god that no one was hurt and we’ll be just fine. Y’all all know how proud of my new granddaughter I am. I’m so glad she was born in 2019 not 2020  ;). Thanks for all the kind words and concerns. If y’all ever make down my way please stop and say hello.
