New spinnerbait mold
« on: 11/01/20 06:01 UTC »
I'd love to see a new mold similar to the Style C2 but with some differences.  Instead of the ball collar it would have a "holder" style collar that allows for a WB800 wire keeper like the football jig mold with the wire keeper. It can be a 3 cavity with extra deep eye sockets with 2 different size molds. 1 mold would be 1/4oz, 3/8oz, and 1/2oz and the other could be 5/8oz, 3/4oz, and 1oz.

I'm guessing you've considered the Banana Spinner?... (which is pretty close to what you are describing but with a molded keeper instead of a wire).

The Banana spinnerbait is similar but is a tad too deep on the belly. The style C is a little slimmer with the weight distributed a little more evenly. The crappie spinnerbait collar is similar to what I'd like to see but a little larger so that you'd have good skirt flare while providing a spot to hold a WB800 wire keeper for a trailer. You are right, the banana spinnerbait is close but the style C has a little better profile making it a more versatile bait in my opinion.
