It was an exciting evening for Iowans, and for anyone who loves the sport.  Some of my family was able to attend. I wasn't there in person but the TV production was fantastic. What a game.  The 9th inning was really something.  Our late friend Jerry V was a big New York Yankees fan. Some pretty powerful nostalgia around this one for everyone.

It was definitely a nice commercial for our great state.  Good come together time for Americana.  Baseball, hotdogs, apple pie and Chevrolet.

Heard it went really well, and sounds like they plan on doing it next year again. Glad to see that the MLB is doing things like this to try and revitalize the falling interest and viewership issues they’ve had. I used to enjoy baseball when I was a kid and collected the Kirby Puckett cards and was a twins fan. They had a strike when I was young, so I lost interest and have never watched baseball since. I was really close to watching the game thought because of the setup on the field of Dreams.
