On Saturday I was showing someone a rack of lipless crank baits I have painted up as display baits. They’ve all been posted here. As I reached up for the rack I got distracted and the thumb shown slipped into the maze of Victory trebles which adorned the baits. I hardly touched the hooks but in a blink one was firmly imbedded. So the job of turning the hook thru and clipping the barb off began. Thankfully it was a size 6 hook. But if anyone has any doubts about the Victory hooks being sharp, they can put their minds at ease. They are.
