It's Official I'm done

Well I finally pulled the plug and put in my Retirement paperwork!!!  I retire Officially New Years Eve and my last day is tomorrow the 9th!!!  40 years of Government service is enough!!

Congratulations FatMan, you'll love it. I retired 1 year ago in October. I was a little anxious at first, but soon settled into it.

Congratulations to you and your achievement!!!  I’m right close to it with 106 months and 26 days. Merely pocket change at this point being that I have 22 years in a state job.

  Congrats ! I did the same thing the first of last year after 40 years. At first it's a struggle figuring out your new life but then you'll settle in and be fine. I still get up every day at 6am and go to bed at 9pm. I'm not sure that will ever change. But what you will do is learn to slow down and take your time, you now have all day to do it and if it doesn't get done there's still tomorrow.
