New Lead Kits!

We finally did it!

https://store.do-itmolds.com/lead-mold-starter-kits-by-do-it-molds
We recently got these new Lead Jig Kits off the ground with hopes to bring new people into the world of custom tackle. These kits are all set up to be cheaper than if you were to actually add all these items to your cart individually. We also set these up so if you already have a melter and lead, you can still get a great deal on our top selling molds and not have to pay for those every time!

So, what does everyone think? What kind of kits do you think would do the best?

Those will work for the bass guys. If they sell; you could make up one for the crappie guys and one swim bait one for bass and walleye.

I too think a crappie set-up would be nice and probably would draw some people.

I'm thinking the Midwest Finesse Kit should be a hot seller. I've seen those go for a buck a piece in the stores. A good rocky bank with smallmouth it sure wouldn't take long to get your investment back on that one.

Earlier this fall, mid-October, I used the regular 1/16 midwest finesse head coupled with a Slick Shiner on rock rip rap on the Mississippi and caught a mess of walleyes with a couple smallies tossed in.

Yes, where the bait met the head wasn't exactly a flush fit but the fish certainly did not care. The rip rap was real steep, maybe only 15-18 feet deep only 6 feet from shore. The boat was kept about ten feet from where rock met mud and the jigs were pitched to the rock and allowed to swim down slowly. The Shiner stood just about straight up as the jigs fell. Cool way to fish that rock.

I've never  messed with lead & the only reason why i didn't  is because i get such a deal on my bass jigs etc.  that it wasn't worth it to me to get into it. I've been considering getting some crappie jig molds for a while though & definitely would buy a minnow head & a round ball head  kit if there was one available.  I only throw 1/32,1/16 & 1/8 oz. jigs so those molds would work out perfectly for me.  I already have a bunch of soft plastic bass lure molds &  crappie   lure  molds now too since i've got into catching them & the lead molds to make the jig to fish them on only makes sense to me.

I like the idea.  I think the difference in kit types is a cool idea.  The kits with the hot pot, lead, and mold should be helpful for someone starting out.

I agree that a smaller mold kit would be interesting to see.

Yep a kit would be perfect for me to start with. Hopefully they put some crappie kits together.
