…. For the project MN Youth Program ice fishing extravaganza. Scheduled to start at 10 I got there at 8:30 to help with any set-up but largely spent my time trying to stay on my feet. Slippery ice today.
Do-It generously donated two of their jig making kits to this endeavor and I did up the 2400 ice baits that went into bags of ten as handouts along with 2 ice sized jigs in each package of plastic.
I left at 9:45 and there were already about 500 on the ice and with the day forecast to be clear and near 40 degrees the organizers are expecting a turnout to be near 1500-2000 this time around. Unreal.
This is a huge undertaking and one that just keeps growing. I have some picks now.
This is Aaron, the president/founder of the organization. Look just to the right of Aaron's flag patch and you'll see something familair.

This is Ryan Pike, Aaron’s right hand man and the contact I used to get the hoods to the kids.
