Bluegills

Been playing around doing some hand pours in swimbaits. It's been a real challenge. The big thing is keeping the mold hot but not to hot while pouring the different layers. This one I skin layered the head with the darker color and then skin layered the body in a clear. Then took a small brush and made the black lateral lines. Then put the mold together and poured the orange belly, then the blue body and finally the dark back and tail.

Dang! Those look great. That middle one looks to be an AI. What mold is the top/bottom?

That's cool looking. I find hand pouring very challenging.

Those look good! What size are those? Five inches? Been thinking about getting some four inch molds.

Yes they're all AI. The top one is their new 5G in the 5 inch

If produced in mass you'd make a ton of money! The problem: the extra time needed to produce layered/painted lures.
Good job BTW!

This is why I enjoy hand pouring so much. So many details that you can do that are really tough to replicate in an injection mold. Nicely done.
