What do you do to save
« on: 05/13/12 13:30 UTC »
Economy not being what it used to be we made a choice to cut back a couple of years ago on some stuff that we could do without. One of them was TV, well not TV but paying the sat, or cable company for it and its been a really good decision and have not really had to give it up, just paying for it. No reason to pay for 250 channels when 100 are music, 15 are home shopping, 30 or more pay per view. ect.ect and still nothing ever on to watch.
So we hooked our mac up to the TV and now use that and our other computers. With a lot of searching over the years I have found many many sites that offer most anythng you want from live tv like discovery, abc, cbs and sports. I am also able to legally stream movies and tv on my site for our customers. If you are looking to cut back its good way to cut back a nice chunk of change. We spent an extra few bucks a month  to increase our internet speed but still save over 1,000 a year on our old tv bills. Now we are able to stream on 4 devices at a time while saving good money. What have you done to save during these times.
