Has anyone been fishing (drop shot) the Cross Tail carrot ??

Comments on it vs. the standard carrots?

And....which side is up?...I would be inclined to put the flat side down to make it flap more....but I really like putting my hook tip on the flat side (like with the swim worm or Freedom Fries)....thus rigging it flat side up.

Is anyone willing to sell some baits? With my Daughter's wedding coming up...my mold budget is being scrutinized!!!! :o

I nose hook it, flat side down. I think it gets more lift this way. These are really good for drop shotting. I haven't tried them any other way yet. John

JMason is right, nose hook the bait with the flat side down. This bait work very well drop shotting I use it a few weeks ago on Kerr lake and caught some fish with the bait being the wrong color.

I like drop shotting the 3.5 and 4" carrot wacky rig I also use the 5 and 6" skinny carrot rigged weedless when I am around a lot of wood or other thing that an open hook hangs up to much.

If you have a color that you like send me the recipe and I will send you the baits.
