Back from a week of wearing the brown backs out!!!!!!

Good to be home but hated to leave the fish biting!!!!!

We took lots of pics and lost count after day one on how many we caught. Daniel, my 11yr old son, (Ghostbaitsjr on the forum), really hammered some toads.

I'll get pics up on the thread soon. Wish I had all the ones from his phone too! CCM baits figured into the catching in a BIG way! The 3.85" freedom fry just dominated! Best colors were watermelon red flake and smokin' cucumber.

Same color as my Cucumber shad in the gallery. Really was an awesome color!!!!! Wish I had some of the fries left to show, ALL GONE!!!

That's an awesome color.  I need to give it a go here.  We have green water and I know it would get seriously whacked.

There is something about the white glitter. Not sure what but that has an effect on the fish up north in the clear water.

Just a few of the over 200 we caught.... We easily had 20+ in our 5 best fish every time we went out. Several times we were over 24lbs....

There is anywhere around here you can catch that many fish in a week.  Way too much pressure in California.  And no real bronze back factories either.  Jealous beyond belief.  Awesome week.  That will recharge the batteries for sure.

Crazy thing is, we only fished Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday....... Got me ALL hyped up!!!!!!!

Thanks for a reminder on that recipe! Going to northern michigan in september to try some smallmouth and will make that receipe up in two or three baits!
