I have absolutely no organizational skills . It always looks like a grenade went off in there all the time . But out of my madness and chaos there comes some fairly good baits and Ideas now and them . I don't have any fancy exhaust systems or noth'in like that . I'm old enough if I read the MSDS right it will take 10 or 20 years to kill ya . Heck I ain't scared and I kind of like the smell of burning rubber .

I posted two pictures of my workstation and exhaust fan set up in the Miscellaneous
Gallery.  This set up works fairly well for me.  I was just getting started with the set up when I took the picture.  There are molds and other lead stuff on additional shelves on the right side now.

A close up of the exhaust fan.

I really like the exhaust fan.  It vents the fumes very well.  In the summer it is nice as it is cooling; but winter it can be a little chilly; especially on your shoulders.  I  was taught to keep my work area cleaned up from my grandfather.

I like it ,, I got one of those fans but didn't want to cut any holes in the wall. i like your idea to frame it in around a window..

The metal corner braces really make the construction easy and add to the strength of the bracket.  This unit had a thermostat; which I did not wire in.  It is wired to a good quality 110 plug; no switch; and I just plug it in.
