7" ribbon tail

Anyone fish CCM 7" Ribbon tail worm? I watched the video of the 10", and I get mesmerized by the way it moves through the water. Geeky I know. So what. I would love to know your success rate with this lure. Has anyone cut the tail off to make a different color tail, and was it difficult? Thanks.

I fish with the 7" ribbon tail. I took a friend out two or three weeks ago testing out color 41. It's a opaque green that I make with salt added to it. Anyways, he normally uses zoom baits mainly the super u tail, this time I told him if he was going to fish out of my boat he was going to use my baits only, so respectfully he agreed.  :P :P ;D  As we came into some weed beds where the fish were trying to spawn, he pitched the 7" ribbon tail up in the beds and began setting the hook. Fish after fish he caught, then he put his rod down. He gave me this funny look, so I asked him what was up? He just stated "Zoom don't have crap over this worm" and shook his head. On average that day we caught about 25 to 30 fish from 8:45 to 1:30PM.  Truthfully, I'd put Jason's 7"Ribbon tail up again any worm out on the market or in a cnc machine!

I fished it last night in nine feet brush piles and killed it with them.  Lost to hogs.  I just wish I had the ten  inch one now.
